History

A merger in 2001 brought together the strengths of two of the most prominent accounting firms in Northwest Florida to create O'Sullivan Creel, LLP. Since 1981, Pensacola-based O'Sullivan Hicks Patton, LLP was known for unparalleled vision and strong values. Fort Walton Beach and Destin-based Creel Bryan and Gallagher, CPAs, was founded on similar values in 1953 when it began offering audit and accounting services throughout the region.

As both firms continued to grow, their leaders recognized that an alliance would strengthen their offerings and expand their services to clients throughout the region by using the talents of a larger group of seasoned professionals. In January 2006, O'Sullivan Creel, LLP added its first Alabama location in Foley by merging with the team of Leeser & Elder, PC. The second Alabama location opened in Fairhope in February 2010. The firm has recently expanded its reach in Okaloosa County by joining with Lundy & Bowers, P.A., a firm in the Crestview market.

On January 1, 2012, the certified public accounting firms of Warren, Averett, Kimbrough & Marino, Wilson Price, and O'Sullivan Creel combined firms to form Warren Averett, LLC. Our firm offers expanded reach and resources, additional service solutions and strengthened depth of expertise, with the same level of personal client service.
