Ilona Borish is a partner in our benefits division. She has been with the firm since 1986. In addition to her years of experience dealing with technical tax issues, she has developed extraordinary expertise in the employee benefits area as a specialty service to clients. She has pursued specialized training in retirement planning and human resources as well.
Ilona attended the University of West Florida and earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 1982, and a Master's degree in accounting in 1983. She became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida in 1985. She began her accounting career with the international accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand (now Pricewaterhouse Coopers), but chose to return to Pensacola after three years.

Ilona lives at the beach, literally. Through sunshine and rain (and even a few Hurricanes), Ilona has lived the last 20 years on Pensacola Beach.
