Larry Hicks is a partner in our tax services group. He has been with the firm since 1985. Larry is focused on tax consulting for individuals and businesses. He also works extensively with owners of closely held corporations, advising them on succession planning, management and other tax matters. As a registered investment advisor, Larry assists clients with management of investment portfolios.
Larry attended University of Alabama and graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in 1970. He became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida in 1975. He is an articulate speaker who is often asked to share his knowledge of tax laws and changes in tax laws on local television programming and with the local media. He has also been a keynote speaker for several local groups, including the University of West Florida Small Business Development Center's tax planning seminar.

Always an active guy, Larry enjoys road cycling in the local area as well as occasional trips to Alabama, Georgia and even Vermont to enjoy the sport.
