Kathy Anthony, Partner with O’Sullivan Creel, LLP, Receives Pensacola News Journal’s Outstanding Woman Business Leader of the Year Award
Pensacola, Fla. – May 2, 2008 – Kathy Anthony was recently honored as the Outstanding Woman Business Leader of the Year by the Pensacola News Journal. Anthony received the award at the ceremony honoring female business leaders for their achievements and service to the Pensacola Bay Area. She was nominated by a former colleague, and then a selection committee reviewed the nomination and letters written in about each nominee to choose the winner.
“When you look at the level of success she has had, where she started in the business, and her strong community involvement, Kathy was the clear winner in this category”, says Becca Boles, marketing development director for the Pensacola News Journal. “She clearly cares about people, and the admirable manner in which she achieved her success is commendable.”

Kathy has an indescribable concern for the welfare of people. She nurtures people in the firm ranging from administrative team to partners. There’s constantly a line at her door. She works tirelessly to make the world around her a better place for her having been there. She is brave enough to make the hard decisions. She uses a combination of good nature, true caring and steel resolve to bring about desired behavior throughout the firm. Her strong ties in the community, both from her long banking career and her extensive, passionate volunteer work, have opened doors for the firm.
